Planning permission has been granted for another of our new specialist supported living developments in Stoke.
Our award-winning team will now deliver 16 new apartments for people with a range of physical and learning disabilities at the 0.62 acre brownfield site on Sneyd Street. It follows the launch of a similar successful scheme we launched last year with Stoke City Council in Smallthorne which was over subscribed.
Development on the scheme, which will include assistive technology infrastructure, is expected to start in Spring 2019 and the scheme completed in 2020.
Residents will be referred to the new development by commissioners of adult social care services at Stoke City Council.
We are excited about starting work in Sneyd Green which will be our second development in Stoke-on-Trent. Our new development will deliver better outcomes by giving people more independence and the key to their own front door, often for the first time in their lives.
We are extremely grateful for the collaborative attitude offered by officers and elected members at Stoke City Council from the outset, to help improve accommodation for people who need a little more support in the community. Our scheme we launched in 2017, Pioneer Court is thriving.
